Year-Round, Summer, March Break, PA Day
YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford offers a variety of inclusive camp programs for children and youth, including day camps, overnight camps, and specialized inclusion support. Camp Chippewa General
Located at Christie Lake Conservation Area, this camp offers traditional day camp activities including arts and crafts, waterfront swimming, archery, canoeing, and environmental science pursuits in a natural outdoor setting.
Paddle Skills
For new and experienced paddlers aged 8-13, this program teaches canoeing fundamentals with fun activities emphasizing safety, alongside traditional camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and archery.
Eco Explorers Camp
Campers aged 8-13 learn about the environment through nature education, science, wilderness survival techniques, and themed activities such as air, water, and animal tracks, combined with full camp programming.
KidVenture Camp
A science-focused camp for ages 6-12 featuring experiments, games, guest speakers, and hands-on projects designed to ignite curiosity and teamwork.
Art Spark
Creative arts camp for ages 6-12 offering activities like painting, sculpting, and friendship bracelet making, culminating in a weekly art gallery presentation.
Active Kids
Sports and movement camp for ages 6-12 focusing on fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship with activities such as soccer, basketball, yoga, and dodgeball.
Helping Hands - 1:1 Inclusion Program
Provides 1:1 support for children aged 6-14 with physical and/or developmental disabilities to participate fully in camp activities alongside peers, with trained staff assisting personal care and inclusion.
Leader in Training (LIT) Level 1
A leadership development program for 14-year-olds focusing on camp skills, teamwork, YMCA values, activity planning, and volunteer experience supporting camper groups.
Leader in Training (LIT) Level 2
Advanced leadership training for 15-year-olds building on Level 1 skills with team building, conflict resolution, behaviour management, and specialized camper group placements.
Summer Half-Day Program
Half-day summer program featuring various activities and themes for children.
Kinder Connections Summer Program
