The Royal Ontario Museum offers a variety of educational programs and camps for children and families, featuring hands-on activities, art projects, science experiments, and guided tours within its world-class galleries. Saturday Club
A Saturday version of the popular Summer Club program providing supervised, hands-on educational activities, art projects, science experiments, and more. Held every fall, winter, and spring, children enjoy eight Saturdays of fun-filled, educational adventures in ROM's inspiring galleries.
ROMKids Junior
An eight-week sensory adventure for young children involving gallery tours with early learning instructors, creative play-based activities, and social interaction in a classroom setting. Designed for parents, caregivers, and children to engage in interactive learning together.
Family Day Weekend
A special event celebrating Family Day with themed activities, live performances, and cultural programming including Lunar New Year celebrations, interactive art projects, and educational exhibits.
Member Tours
Guided museum tours exclusively for Members on themes such as climate change and ancient civilizations, providing deeper insights into the collections.
Museum Tours
Daily public tours led by trained Museum Docents and Guides, offering insights into the collections and focused gallery adventures. No reservations required.
Third Tuesday Nights
Free after-hours access to most galleries on the third Tuesday night of every month from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, allowing families and friends to explore the Museum in the evening.
Guild of Immortals
A program welcoming young ROM Members to explore the Museum through a handbook of fun activities and facts. Completion earns a special seal and glow-in-the-dark enamel pin.
