Art One Academy Markham offers professional in-person art classes, camps, and birthday parties designed for children and teens aged 4 to 18. Their programs combine fundamentals of drawing, painting, and sculpture with a focus on creativity, small class sizes, and portfolio development, making them ideal for both hobbyists and aspiring art professionals.

Art Combo 1
A unique opportunity for children aged 4-6 to develop artistic and creative skills through drawing, painting, and sculpture using a broad range of materials based on The Ontario Curriculum for Arts.
Art Combo 2
For children aged 7-9 to refine their artistic approach while exploring creativity and the beauty of art in small groups.
Art Combo 3
Engages children aged 10-12 with higher-level techniques and integrates art history to connect creativity with academics.
Art Combo Teens
Guides teens aged 13+ to create and understand complex artworks while nurturing their imaginative spirit in small groups.
Character Design
For ages 7-12, this course teaches figure drawing structure and character creation for comics and animation in small groups.
Portfolio
Tailored for ages 10-18, this course prepares students for art-related university applications by developing portfolio-worthy projects.
March Break Camp
A one-week creative camp where participants explore various art disciplines and techniques to create beautiful artworks.
Winter Art Camp
A fine arts day camp during winter break offering constructive and creative activities for children.
Summer Art Camp
A summer day camp where young artists explore new themes and a wide variety of artistic activities.
P.A. Day Art Camp
Art camp programs offered on PA days aligned with York Region District School Board schedule, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Birthday Parties
Creative 2-hour supervised birthday parties including a 1¼ hour art project and 45 minutes for celebration and food, with themed projects and framed artwork for the birthday child.
Digital Illustration Workshop
A 3-session workshop on Saturdays teaching digital illustration techniques.
